What is Network Security?
Network Security network सुरक्षा के लिए Data को लेने का अधिकार Network प्रशासक द्वारा control किया जाता है । प्रयोगकर्ता को एक ID और Password दिए जाते हैं या वह चुनता है जिससे की सूचना सही प्रयोगकर्ता द्वारा ही प्रयोग की जाए जिसके पास उस सूचना को प्रयोग करने का अधिकार हो ।
Network Security विभिन्न प्रकार के computer networks को बताती है ।
जैसे– Public और Private जोकि आजकल बहुत जैसे कि पैसो का आदान-प्रदान, व्यवसाय में वार्तालाप, सरकारी कार्यो और अन्य अपने निजी कार्यो के लिए प्रयोग की जाती है ।

Network private हो सकता है जैसे कि किसी company के और अन्य जो सभी के लिए (publically) प्रयोग करने के लिए खुला हो ।
इसकी व्याख्या इसके title द्वारा की जा सकती है, यह network को सुरक्षित करती है और network को सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए कई कार्य भी करती है ।
Network को सुरक्षित करने के लिए सबसे आसान तरीका है कि network स्रोत का उपयोग वही करे जिसे कि वह network के लिए unique ID और Password दिए हो । What is Network Security in Hindi | Network Security Kya hai?

Principles of Data Security data की सुरक्षा से सम्बंधित मुख्य सिद्धांत इस प्रकार है
1) Data की सुरक्षा उसके पूरे जीवन-चक्र (Life Cycle) में की जानी चाहिए । यदि कोई data अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है, तो उसे अनाधिकृत उपयोग से सुरक्षा दी जानी चाहिए । इसके लिए data के चारो ओर सुरक्षा के कई स्तर बनाने पड़ते हैं ।

2) Data की सुरक्षा में किया जाने वाला खर्च data के खर्च से कम होना चाहिए । किसी data के मूल्य से ही यह तय होता है कि उसे किस प्रकार की सुरक्षा दी जानी चाहिए ।
उदाहरण– यदि कोई data राष्ट्रीय महत्व का है , तो उसे सबसे अधिक सुरक्षा दी जाती है ।
3) System को प्राकृतिक दुर्घटनाओं से बचाना चाहिए । Computer को बाढ़, भूकंप, आग, आँधी-तूफान से बचाने के की सुदृढ़ व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए ।
उदाहरण– यदि computer केंद्र किसी नदी के किनारे है, तो उसे भूमि-तल (ground floor) पर नही लगाना चाहिए ।

4) Data को recover करना भी सुरक्षा का भाग होना चाहिए । किसी अनपेक्षित दुर्घटना के बाद data को फिर से पूरा प्राप्त करने के लिए कोई विश्वसनीय व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए ।
उदाहरण– Password खो जाने पर उसे फिर से प्राप्त करने की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए । इसी तरह harddisk असफल होने की स्थिति में data को recover करने के लिए रेड
(RAID; the redundant array of independent disks) की स्थापना की जानी चाहिए ।
